The famous saint of Maharashtra in 16th century said in Marathi, “Putra asava aisa gonda, jyachya triloki zenda” means “a son is worth calling him loving whose name and fame is spread on the three places ( i.e. the earth, the heaven and the hell”.
Today I have pride to see that our nation being called as Bharat matrubhumi i.e. Mother India, has such sons who have won Oscar and have become pride for us. The bond of fraternity is strong when we Indians have joy and happiness in sharing our feelings and expressing and appreciating the talents hidden in us.
Definitely, when the world is watching the Oscars holding their breath, It was me, who was out for my own work. Being an Indian, I am very delighted and extremely happy that our talents successfully won prizes in the movie “slumdog millionair”. I wanted it to happen years ago, at least from the year 2000, when I wanted some body to acknowledge our great poet writer Gulzar, our great talented musician A.R. Rahman and our talented actors and actresses for their work in the movie. It’s a dream come true in a great sense. Understanding Gulzar’s lyrics, need huge heart and sensitivity which has ability to capture your senses completely. Such simple yet complex writer never happened before and will not happen later, whose words flow like water connected to each other. Same is like others where words are really short to express their talent and we don’t have expression with words but by way of tears – the tears of joy. You smile and you still have tears in eyes …
But there is one more additional reason for me to have pride on me. You will wonder who, what, how etc. But I am not joking. It is my pleasure and I dare to speak it out. Some may call me superstitious, some may call me fool, but I don’t care. I am firm believer that if you search for an answer, you can get it. I believe in the saying of Saint Kabir – “ Jin dhunda tin painya, gahare pani paith, Jinko utaran dar lage, raha kinare baith” means “those who take dive in the water can only get the pearls. Those who are scared to take risk and sit on the shores, they don’t get anything.” The meaning again became strong when there was curiosity about whether our team will win the Ocsars.
Well, many meanings and answers are given by astrology itself. And in many such questions, astrology coupled with common sense, brings extremely close to the answer. We Indians were once the most advance in their knowledge of astrology and the science. When the world was called as flat, our Indian saints cum scientists had said that the earth is round and they had discovered all planets 5500 years ago, and made significant calculations about all the other planets, their motions, which have been discovered by some space researchers now and naming them Harshal etc. etc.
My astrological guru have made a theory for this based on logic and common sense and the horoscope was called as the “Question horoscope”. It is different than the birth horoscope and only related to the question in the mind. This question horoscope is a magic wand to answer all the questions in yes or no, and if yes, then the success percentage. My sir, had solved many questions and gave us examples in which some research and contribution I also make.
My guru said, our ancient science says that when you have to act as astrologer, the nature and surroundings also try to give you omens and based on this omens also you can find various answers yourself. Like ancient times good omens and bad omens are different but in current scenario, they are different. Its not necessary that a dead body has to pass as a bad omen because you don’t get to see people dying before you but there are incidents which need to be noted as a good omen or a bad omen.
All question horoscope need to be made when the question is in the mind and by picking a number from 1 to 249. But in a busy working life its not possible for us to make horoscope and one may not necessarily have all the relevant details of planetary motions for making horoscopes. In such circumstances an omen, a constellation, the rising star can give the answers. I have plenty of such experiences in this regard. And I am finally concluding in respect of "Slumdog Millionaire".
The earlier day, our Indian team has left for the US where the Oscars would be given and there are lot of hopes about success and this was being telecast on the TV. My dad was talking to me about how many prior movies went from here to Oscar and came only with nominations, like Lagan, tare jamin par, etc. and again this time the movie has gone. He was saying ,”Who knows whether we will get Oscar or not”. The distribution programme was next day. I also started thinking on his lines.
And I heard the next news. The TV news was about EPF rate would be kept at 8.25 % for the next year which was declared by EPF (Employee Provident Fund) chief spokes person Mr. Oscar Fernandes through the media. I shouted “Baba Oscar will be bagged with minimum 8 Oscars, you don’t worry.” Because Oscar F. himself appeared, was a great omen for this and he gave the figure 8.25. means .25 is definitely below .5 and hence by the rule of approximation, it is annulled in nearest integer 8. I again applied my mind, what if 8 don’t work then make a total of 8 + 2+ 5 = 15, then again 1+5 = 6. Still six is a good figure -) nearest answer.
I was telling him next day you see and tell me how many we will get. I guess it will be between 8 and minimum 6.
In the evening I was out for a meeting and I really had no news about the Oscars prizes. Oscar came for “Slumdog Millionaire” with great winning colours as a pride for we Indians. My father was waiting for me when we reached home and he first said we won maximum prizes and about 7 Oscars have been received. I was happy that God has saved my words - But I started thinking as how come the Oscars are 7? The Number could have been 6 or 8. And I felt the answer is wrong. Let me wait for the paper.
And today’s newspaper has given all the details about Oscars for slumdog billionaire and I am delighted that we have received 8 ( EIGHT ) Oscars. Thanks to astrology. Thanks to my GURU Krishnamurthy who made research long time ago and spent his whole life in that research. Thanks for the astrology author Shri Suresh Shahasane, who gave plenty of examples about it and thanks to other writers of Indian astrology who said that one must believe in omens. Thanks to God that it has given me the ability to choose which is right omen and which is bad omen.
